McCall, Idaho is an active community set next to Payette Lake in Idaho's West Central Mountains. Winters are spent alpine and nordic skiing, snowmobiling, snow shoeing, back country skiing, tubing, sledding, enjoying the annual Winter Carnival or exploring the many shops, restaurants and breweries in town. Summer days involve waterskiing, jet skiing, surfing and paddle boarding on Payette Lake, hiking, rafting and kayaking, mountain biking, camping, fishing and lounging on the lake. Spring and fall may involve a little bit of everything, depending on the day and the mood!

Brundage Mountain Resort
Local ski resort. Contact Brundage to schedule your ski outing- from daycare, to group and private lessons, to cat skiing adventures, they have it all.
Three, nine-hole courses comprise our beautiful 27-hole facility located in the west central mountains of Idaho. Established in 1934, our tree lined fairways give way to small, undulating greens. The terrain is gentle and easy to walk, with many natural hazards throughout the course.
Located next to Ponderosa State Park, it is common to see wildlife enjoying the golf course along with golfers. The views and the wonders of Mother Nature surround and are spectacular. Our moderate mountain climate and long summer nights make golfing here a very pleasant experience.
Large swimming pool maintains around 100 °f year-round. It is fed by natural hot spring water at the rate of 150 gallons per minute. There are two small hot pools at the inlet that average around 113 °f. A partitioned shallow pool has been built for the little ones, though children must be accompanied and supervised by parents at all times. Our facilities have a maximum occupancy of 200.
Loon Mountain Aviation offers scenic flight-seeing in an M-7-235B, Maule Aircraft. It is a 4 seat, high wing bush plane, with full windows, shoulder harnesses, and intercom for each passenger. Flights are customized to each customer, but will remain within 25 miles of the takeoff point and return to that same airport. We can fly from McCall, Cascade, Donnelly, or New Meadows. The pilot is Dave Looney, a retired Air Force pilot, with over 6000 hours of flight time and a FAA certified flight instructor in airplanes and helicopters, as well as a certified Airline Transport Pilot. Flights are at least two person minimum, and cost $300/hour. A typical flight around Payette Lake can take as little as 1/2 hour, or as long as 2 hours if passengers want to see a broader reach of country. Tamarack, Brundage, the South Fork of the Salmon, Cascade Lake, and Jug Mountain are are well within reach from McCall.
